“Broadway at the Shores” Gala to Benefit Abused Children

Martin County, FL – The Martin County Guild of Hibiscus Children’s Center presented “Broadway at the Shores” on December 6th at the beautiful Hutchinson Shores Resort & Spa. Over 150 guests enjoyed browsing silent auction items, a gourmet dinner, the Broadway-inspired performance by Ladies of Act III and dancing to the tunes of DJ Jimmy Dee.
The enjoyable evening directly supported the abused, abandoned and neglected children living at the Hibiscus Shelter in Jensen Beach and helps enhance their young lives and provide healing through educational, medical and professional mental health services.
Our talented entertainers, Ladies of Act III, consisted of Anna McNeely, the original “Jennyanydots” from the Broadway hit Cats, with Jeanne Bennett and Debbie White, both accomplished singers. The ensemble performed favorite show tunes from Phantom of the Opera to legendary performers like Lena Horne.
