VOLUNTEERS DO NOT NECESSARILY HAVE THE TIME, THEY JUST HAVE THE HEART. – Elizabeth Andrew
Volunteers have been the backbone of Hibiscus Children’s Center for 35 years. From rocking a little one to sleep; to planning a fundraiser; from washing windows, to tutoring math; from teaching a life skills class, to chaperoning field trips … there are so many ways to be involved with Hibiscus and each and every “job” helps make a significant difference in the lives of our children.
We welcome the many talents and resources our volunteers bring to the organization and the children’s lives. As part of the “Hibiscus Family”, volunteers greatly assist the staff in so many critical areas. Opportunities to help include our residential facilities – the Village and the Shelter, Hibiscus Thrift Store, Administrative Offices, Fundraising and Special Events and advocating in our community, just to name a few.
Thank you for helping us … help abused, neglected and abandoned children in our community. We could not accomplish our mission without our wonderful Volunteers!
