CIRQUE D’ ELEGANCE …
A NIGHT OF WONDERS
Vero Beach – Hibiscus Children’s Center hosted the mesmerizing Cirque D’ Elegance … A Night of Wonders on December 7th at The Moorings Yacht & Country Club. The premier charity event of the season was enjoyed by over 180 guests who directly supported the abused, abandoned and neglected youth living at the Hibiscus Village. The generous supporters help Hibiscus Children’s Center provide medical and educational services, professional therapeutic counseling, career training and to help transform the lives and future of our youth.
The magical adventure began when guests arrived at the transformed clubhouse, Cirque D’ Elegance style! Event Chairs, Mackie Duch and Roni Fuster, welcomed guests to the dazzling affair complete with jugglers, acrobats and performers that weaved together a tapestry of artistry and surrealism and the ambience exuded theatrical elegance. After guests perused over 200 incredible silent auction items, Ringmaster Jacob Craig, Director of Music and Arts at First Presbyterian Church, ascended on top of the reception bar to sing a wonderful rendition of “Welcome My Friends to the Show That Never Ends”, then he led the guests to the beautiful ballroom for a gourmet dinner by Chef Ben Tench. Matt Markley, Hibiscus CEO, and Lou Boccabella, CAO, thanked the donors and shared about Hibiscus Children’s Center’s programs for our youth, followed by a special “Call to the Heart” auction led by Master of Ceremonies John Moore to support the youth services at the Hibiscus Village. Gypsy Lane Band presented terrific musical performances throughout the evening and guests kicked up their heels on the dancefloor!
