Hibiscus Children’s Center Presents “Gala in Gold” to Benefit Abused Youth

Vero Beach – The Hibiscus Children’s Center’s Gala in Gold is the premier charity affair of the season!  The Indian River County Guild invites you to join us at 6:00PM on Saturday, December 9, 2017, at The Moorings Yacht & Country Club in Vero Beach.  From the moment you arrive at “The Event of Vero Beach”, you will be dazzled by the elegant shimmery and sequined atmosphere.  This elegant black-tie affair features an elaborately themed cocktail hour and gourmet dinner with professional entertainment and a 5-piece band playing contemporary hits featuring the lovely voice of local artist, Tori Rossi.

Guests will enjoy bidding on incredible live auction items including a fabulous sunset cocktail cruise aboard a beautiful 86′ luxury yacht.  There is also an extensive silent auction with hundreds of items, including vacation homes, home decor, jewelry, spa services, art, gift certificates, golf packages and more.  The evening promises to be a spectacular and memorable event for you and your friends.

Co-chairs Petra King and Rosemary Smith and their dedicated committee of volunteers are working diligently to not only provide a spectacular and memorable evening for you and your friends, but to also help Hibiscus raise critical funds to keep abused youth in our community safe and to build a strong foundation for a brighter future.  While enjoying this elegant affair, you will be directly supporting the youth living at the Hibiscus Children’s Village.  Hibiscus is deeply grateful for the generous support of our guests, sponsors and volunteers who are giving teens the opportunity to learn life skills and career preparation training and to receive the love, guidance and nurturing they desperately need.  Together, we are making a positive difference for our youth in need.
