Hibiscus Children’s Center Presents “Wonderland Gala” to Benefit Abused Youth
The Hibiscus Children’s Center’s Wonderland Gala is the premier charity affair of the season. This glamorous black tie dinner-dance in an enchanting Wonderland themed setting is sure to be “The Gala Event” in Vero Beach! The winter gala will be held at 6pm on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at The Moorings Yacht and Country Club. This elegant affair is set to dazzle and delight you with great food, great entertainment, and great company – it will be an unforgettable evening!
Upon arrival, guests will be greeted by a Wonderland that will take their breath away. The cocktail hour will feature delicious hors d’oeuvres and an exciting silent auction that will offer something special for everyone. A gourmet dinner will follow presented by the culinary talents of Chef Ben Tench. Guests will not be able to stay in their seats when the “Gypsy Lane Band” takes the stage with their dazzling musical performance! This enchanting evening will create unforgettable memories and enjoyment while together, we are directly changing the lives of youth for the better.
Co-chairs Petra King and Rosemary Smith, and their dedicated committee of volunteers, have been diligently planning and creating to not only provide a fabulous affair, but to help Hibiscus raise critical funds to keep abused youth in our community safe and to build a strong foundation for their future. The youth living at the Hibiscus Children’s Village are provided a safe haven along with medical, dental and educational services and career preparation and training. Hibiscus is deeply grateful for the generous support of our guests, sponsors and volunteers who are giving teens the priceless gifts of safety, love, and the freedom to dream of a brighter future. Together, we are making a positive difference for our youth in need.
