Hibiscus Children’s Center Hosts Wine & Dine “Taste of Australia”
Vero Beach, FL – Hibiscus Children’s Center is excited to announce that we will once again take you on a culinary journey at the “Taste of Australia”! Don’t miss this fabulous Wine & Dine event to be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 6:30pm at the beautiful Grand Harbor Club in Vero Beach. Join us to savor a progressive tasting of Australian cuisine from appetizer to dessert, specially paired with wonderful wines, while enjoying a night of friends, music, and great silent auction items. Australia is home of the great architectural icon, the Sydney Opera House, and boasts a wide variety of multi-cultural cuisine. Your taste buds will be delightfully tempted while we join together for a great cause, to support the abused youth living at the Hibiscus Village and help to provide a better future for the teens.
Another highlight of the evening will be the exciting opportunity to win one of our fabulous drawing prizes! Tickets are $20, 3 for $50, or 7 for $100 and you do not need to be present to win. 1st Prize is a $500 gift certificate to enjoy dinner at The Tides – Fine Dining, Elevated, where Chef Leanne Kelleher offers innovative cuisine featuring the finest local seafood and organic produce along with a Wine Spectator Award Winning wine list since 2000; 2nd Prize is “Your Own Special Wine Cellar” of 24 bottles of a variety of sumptuous wines, valued at $360; and 3rd Prize is “Your Own Special Wine Cellar” of 12 bottles of a variety of sumptuous wines, valued at $180.

Co-chairs Carole Casey and Henriette Churney, along with their committee of dedicated volunteers, are planning an exciting evening that the guests will remember while raising critical funds to assist youth in need. All proceeds from the Wine & Dine event directly support the mission of Hibiscus Children’s Center and its efforts to improve the lives of abused, abandoned and neglected teens living at the Hibiscus Village in Vero Beach. The Village provides long-term home environments for teens where they receive nurturing, love and encouragement along with educational services and career preparation training.
