Hibiscus Children’s Center Hosts “Candlelight Ball” to Support Youth
Vero Beach – Close to 200 guests enjoyed a fabulous evening at the elegant “Candlelight Ball” hosted by Hibiscus Children’s Center on December 3rd at Oak Harbor. It truly was the premier Gala event of the season! Guests were greeted on the red carpet as they entered this lovely black-tie affair. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres were served while party goers perused nearly 100 incredible silent auction items. A delicious three-course filet mignon and seafood dinner was enjoyed by everyone. Then guests hit the dancefloor and danced the night away to the fabulous sounds of The Jordan Thomas Odyssey Band.
Our generous guests shared their hearts for the kids as they bid during the live auction which featured these terrific items – a fabulous stay at the Aurora Anguilla Resort & Golf Club, a week-long stay at a stunning mountain view cabin in Mars Hill in North Carolina, a beautiful diamond bracelet and an exciting trip to London. A highlight of the evening was the special “Call to the Heart” auction to raise funds for the needs of our youth.
